-
- This is a $15 shareware program. You may use this program for a 30-day
- evaluation period, after which you must either register the program or
- stop using it.
-
- Installation:
-
- Edit DOOR.CFG and follow the instructions contained therein.
- Multinode systems must create a DOOR.CFG file for each node (such
- as DOOR1.CFG, DOOR2.CFG, etc). Execute ANTS.EXE /S to have ANT WARS
- prompt you for the appropriate information and create a DOORx.CFG file
- for you!
-
- Edit REG.KEY so that it contains your name, your BBS name and your
- registration code. If you do not have a registration number yet, just
- leave the default "123451234512345" until you get one. Read
- REGISTER.DOC for instructions on obtaining a registration number.
-
- Set-up a menu option on your BBS to call ANTS.EXE with the
- PATH\FILENAME of the appropriate DOOR.CFG file. Like so:
-
- ANTS.EXE C:\BBS\DOORS\ANTS\DOOR1.CFG
-
- Ants can be called from any drive or directory, there is no need to
- change to the ANTS sub-directory prior to invoking ANTS.EXE (except
- local mode).
-
-
- Local Mode:
-
- If ANTS.EXE is invoked without any command line options (in which
- case it must be invoked from the ANTS subdirectory) then it will default
- to local mode. This is useful for testing the door prior to setting it
- up on your BBS.
-
-
- LIFE:
-
- The plants in Ant Wars have a life of their own - LIFE will display
- the current game map in VGA (VGA is required) and demonstrate the
- plants' life cycle.
-
-
- That is all. Good luck and remember to register.
